Since basing ourselves in Southern California, we have been fortunate enough to explore Downtown Los Angeles. The Gallant State team recently visited the Walt Disney Concert Hall for the Noon to Midnight event. While exploring, prior to arriving at the Concert Hall, we happened to stumble upon the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power Building, which is about a 5-minute walk away.
We got the feeling that there was something very familiar about the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power Building, with its unique surrounding water feature and contemporary design. If you haven’t watched Inception recently, you might not have realized that the building was featured in Leonardo DiCaprio’s limbo, where he and Marion Cotillard created their own world.
As we move further into Fall and the temperature starts to decline we can finally add more pieces to our outfit, with the exception of Southern California of course, where we’re still enjoying beach weather.
Without starting to brag about our time at the beach over the weekend, we have chosen to follow the seasons of the rest of the country and focus on styling tips that will have you set for the cooler months.
As the title suggests, we will be covering how to piece together the perfect contrasting outfit. The use of contrast will give new life to your wardrobe by increasing the number of variations that you have available.
Getting married or simply enjoying the sights, you can do both at the Wayfarers Chapel.
We were lucky enough to be invited to our good friend’s wedding celebration at the Wayfarers over the weekend, and it’s safe to say that it was one of the nicest venues we’ve ever been to. The price for such a venue is pretty nice as well, but more on that later.
The Chapel itself may look very familiar if you happen to be a fan of the popular TV show Lucifer (we are). You’ll remember it from the first episode.
