We spent months in development to deliver an excellent product, and it seems our team's hard work is paying dividends! The West Coast Trend Show in Los Angeles was a huge success after we unveiled our sports shirt collection to retailers for the first time. Trend show attendees were treated to Australian snacks and received a sneak peek at our new AW18 lineup. We had a great first experience at the West Coast Trend show, and cannot wait to showcase our SS19 collection later this year! With the new release right around the corner, we’re proud to give you an exclusive showcase of our AW18 collection of sports shirts in this month’s blog article.
We are introducing a new selection of sports shirts to the world focused on authentic Australian inspired designs and carefully crafted to represent various Australian styles and cultures. Each shirt in the collection is named after a city in Australia that we felt characterized our fashion culture and brand here at Gallant State. Our lead designer, Jessica, chose color palettes and design elements that pay homage to each cities unique tradition and atmosphere. She has worked tirelessly to prepare this collection of sports shirts for AW18 and is excited to see someone wearing one in Southern California in 2018!
We’re looking forward to working with our existing retailers and also introducing our sports shirts to more locations throughout the U.S. and Canada. The sports shirts will be available in stores and online starting July 2018 so make sure to follow our future blog articles as we move closer to July! We will be unveiling our newest retailers in the coming months so if you haven’t, make sure to follow us on Facebook and Instagram to stay updated on more news and exciting events!
Exclusive Sports Shirt Preview (L-R)
Hamilton – A town west of Melbourne which claims to be the "Wool Capital of the World." This shirts design is a unique shearing blade pattern crafted by our lead designer, Jessica. Our goal with this design was to pay homage to Hamilton's wool industry heritage and was a favorite at this year's West Coast Trend Show!
Portsea – A coastal city known for its beautiful beaches, views and the annual Polo event. This town is the entry point of the Port Phillip Bay which is Melbourne’s bay area. Portsea has a Marine Blue color base to represent the coastal nature of Portsea and is a fantastic choice of attire for any Polo event.
Windsor – This city is east of Melbourne's Central Business District and is well-known for its variety of eclectic bars and restaurants on Chapel Street such as The Woods of Windsor. The color palette and design elements were chosen to represent the Windsor gourmet experience.
Chadstone – This is known as the fashion capital of Melbourne and home to one of Melbourne's largest and most renowned high fashion shopping malls. The design of this shirt was influenced by the city’s emphasis on all things fashion, using an intricate and vibrant print and color palette. Chadstone is the ideal place to wear a Gallant State sports shirt!
